See Why We Covet Kody Pangburn’s Dream Worthy Job

Raiding a giant Chanel archive in Hong Kong. Crafting the inventory for one of New York's favorite vintage stores. Hitting the Big City in century-old denim. This might sound like a dream scenario for most of us, but for Kody Pangburn, it just happens to be everyday life. As the curator of the famed bicoastal vintage designer emporium What Goes Around Comes Around, Kody works with buyers and shoppers across the globe to assemble one of the best collections in the world. Zipping between the flagship Soho store and the New Jersey warehouse (yep, it's just that: A warehouse chock-full of dreamy vintage — trust us, we've been), Kody has access to some of the best vintage all over the globe. She carefully inspects every piece to ensure those gold double Cs on that chain necklace you picked up are the real deal. Lucky for us, she's given us an insider's view with V.I.P. access to the basement archives at WGACA. Outfitted in turn-of-the- century furniture (the velvet fainting couch is fitting, considering how breathtaking some of these pieces are!), the basement is home to some of the most-exclusive finds that the public rarely gets to see. We'd be lying if we said it wasn't as dreamy as you think it is.
