We are huge supporters of all things Chicago fashion, and lucky for us, this city is home to SAIC — and its spectacular fashion design program. Student designers, aside from being the major brands of the future, are known for creating inspired, unique, think-outside-the-box clothing. This Friday, the bright pupils at SAIC are holding a sale from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., offering designs from the school's recent spring fashion show. Sneak out of work for an hour and support young (local!) design talent. Better still, when you're shopping student designs, you're scoring something that is probably one-of-a-kind, and we like the sound of those bragging rights.
