When we say fight, we mean on the runway, of course. Join eight local designers tonight at 6:30 p.m. as they compete in a fashion show event with big rewards—a trip to Milan. The Italian American Chamber of Commerce is all set to host the Italian Expo Renaissance tonight, complete with a wine-tasting and fashion clash of the Chicago titans. Expect to see some of your faves on the runway, including Michelle Tan, Christina Fan, Alma Wieser, Chrystal B. Simms, and more. This is just a little Italian Expo preview, the main event will happen September 30 through October 2, but we're more concerned with the part that involves a fashion battle, aren't' you? It all goes down at Tocco, and you can expect to mingle with chef and owner, Bruno Abate, as you cheer your favorite designer on to victory (and Milan!).
