As a photographer, some of the most common questions I get are about Instagram, and include everything from, “Where do you get all your hats?” to “How and why are you always traveling?” and “What do you use for your camera gear?"
Without a doubt, Instagram has become one of my favorite tools, whether I'm exploring Seattle with my boyfriend, or shooting projects in the West Indies through my agency, Tinker Street*. My photo work requires me to travel all over, which is the most exciting thing about it. In Washington, there are so many beautiful places to go explore, so I'm always going somewhere.
I thought I'd share some of my favorite tips and tricks for taking super-flattering Instagram photos. So, whether you're jetting off to the beach or toasting s'mores around the campfire, you can capture your memories in the best light.
