Peep Snaps (& Get Inspired!) From This Annual Bridal Fete

There are a lot of bridal events in this city, but not all of them are attention-grabbers in an aspirational way — hipster wedding previews, we're looking at you. But last week, Cara and Scott Nava of Carasco Photography held their fourth annual Brides, Bubbles, and Bliss event, which, of course, had brides and hopefuls alike leaving lustful and inspired.
Held at the Bridgeport Art Center's Skyline Loft, guests were taken to the top-floor fete via a large freight elevator equipped with a Veuve Clicquot bar — not a bad way to set the tone for a good time! When the doors opened, the space was filled with stunning displays from some of the city's top vendors, including Revel Décor, Soiree Weddings & Events, Ashland Addison Floral, Sugar Chic Designs, and more. And to keep those tiny bubbles from going to everyones' heads, Jewell Events Catering put out an ample spread of goodies.
But the real icing on the wedding cake this year was the addition of a beauty bar by Jouer Cosmetics and a U.S. runway debut of Ersa Atelier couture gowns, courtesy of Dimitra’s Bridal. Even if you weren't able to make it, we've got snaps from the festivities that are still bound to inspire you in more ways that one — it just might be time to reevaluate that budget of yours.
