Sometimes, all it takes to turn an average coffee table into an ingenious, small-space-appropriate solution is one smart tweak — when a designer thinks "inside" the square, if you will. We're always on the hunt for furniture that uses space more efficiently, without sacrificing style. 

So, we were delighted when 12 designers at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago teamed up with CB2 for a 16-piece collection that's airy yet functional, from a space-saving corner bar cart to a side table with a leather sling for visually interesting storage.
