Booze & Beads: R29 Does DIY Like A Boss

Traditionally, Monday is a day to detox from the weekend, get organized, and lay low — but not for anyone who attended the Refinery29 and Levi's I-DIY event last night at the brand's Mag Mile store.

Our hostess with the mostest — jewelry designer Laura Lombardi — helped guests get crafty at the DIY stations, which included Levi's denim bedazzling, nifty heat-transferable R29 patches, and super-cool pins created from the partygoers Instagram snaps.

And, the DIY action was not just reserved for clothing alone. There was also a scrumptious build-your-own-hot-dog station from The Haute and the Dog, as well as a robust Bloody Mary bar stocked with Double Cross Vodka and all the fixins' to make a drink almost a proper meal. Top it all off with DJ sets from Ladytron's Reuben Wu, and we could have sworn it was a Friday night.
