Sure, it's great to try out a new spot, but there's nothing like a tried-and-true fave. One that makes our list? The rooftop patio at NoMI Kitchen at the Park Hyatt Chicago. Warning: It's a bit of a splurge — but totally worth it for an amazing date night, girls' get-together, or heck, summer Friday.

Apparently, we're not the only ones who feel this way. Last week, over 250 fashionable Chicagoans packed the patio for its annual kick-off party. While it was a steamy night, there were plenty of signature cocktails to keep guests cool, including new libations for the season: The Fortune Teller (Tito's vodka, lemon, Lillet rosé, strawberry, mint, peychaud's bitters) and the Par Avión (Macchu pisco, campari, honey raspberry, Prosecco). There were also light bites from executive chef Ryan LaRoche and tunes from Katarina Visnevska to turn this gathering into a true fete.
