If you've been reading your Refinery29 lately, you know that Topshop/Topman recently opened the gates to fast-fashion paradise to Chicago shoppers last week. No longer must we stare at that Michigan Avenue Mecca with its stylish billboards teasing us with the promise of chic, inexpensive goods to come. The wait is over and, as you might expect, we were among the first in. We ran among the racks of dresses, jackets, shoes, and accessories like a sugar-high child in FAO Schwartz. Our hearts did jumping jacks every time we spotted a Chicago exclusive piece. But before we busted inside, we chatted with Chicagoans waiting in line enjoying the opening-day festivities and snapped shots of the most stylish locals who came out to shop and party.
